Andrew established the Ruth Strauss Foundation, which provides support to families who have lost loved ones to cancer. Through this foundation, Andrew is helping to make a positive impact in the lives of those who have been affected by cancer and is honoring the memory of his late wife, Ruth Strauss.

In his role as a mental health speaker, Andrew is able to share his personal experience of coping with grief, the challenges he faced in his sporting career, and the scrutiny of the public eye. These experiences have equipped him with valuable strategies for developing mental resilience and have opened up important discussions about men's mental health.
