Pratik Patel is a Dietitian, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and PhD student. Over the past 20 years, he has dedicated his studies to nutrition, fitness, recovery, and the interconnectedness of these factors in achieving optimal health and performance. Throughout his career, Pratik has worked extensively with elite athletes, most recently serving as an Assistant Coach with the New York Giants as Director of Performance Nutrition and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. In this position, he oversaw all aspects of nutrition, hydration, supplementation, sleep, and recovery to maximize health and performance.
Before joining the Giants, Pratik spent over 7 years working at the collegiate level, contributing to sports nutrition departments at Kansas State, Michigan State, and the University of Oregon. During this time, he had the unique opportunity to establish and develop these departments from scratch. Pratik's impressive client list includes 2 NFL All-Pros, 8 Pro Bowlers, 33 NFL Draft Picks (7 of which were first-rounders), 7 NBA Draft Picks, 2 PGA Tour Players, and 3 USATF Olympians.
In addition to his extensive experience, Pratik is a Registered Dietitian and board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
